JUNIOR GRAPPLERS
For ages 5 - 14, our kids Jiu Jitsu class is designed to impart valuable life skills to our students all while having fun. The skills your kids will learn range from self-defense, confidence, how to set goals, and self awareness. The primary focus of our kids program is to develop fundamental techniques and create a solid foundation to build upon in later years. Jiu Jitsu is a highly effective and comprehensive system of standing and ground defense techniques utilizing rules of leverage. It's also an awesome workout for kids regardless of athletic ability.

ADULT JIU JITSU
Our adult Jiu Jitsu program is recommended for ages 15+. In this program, we teach the core self-defense techniques of Jiu-Jitsu developed by Pedro Sauer. We have a welcoming environment where we respect one another. At Guerrilla Grappling, we focus on fundamental Jiu Jitsu, which includes standing and ground techniques. Absolutely no experience is necessary. You will learn a valuable life skill, get an great work out, and meet a great community of people.

KICKBOXING / STRIKING
For ages 14+, our Kickboxing program is rooted in Dutch-style kickboxing, blending crisp boxing, powerful kicks, high-output combinations, and practical defense. Classes are led by Coach Chris McGraw, who has trained Jiu Jitsu since 2004 and Kickboxing/MMA since 2005. The program is designed to build striking skill, conditioning, coordination, confidence, and composure under pressure in a technical training environment. Our Kickboxing program offers a challenging, and well-rounded approach to striking for all experience levels.

HOMESCHOOL JIU JITSU
For ages 4+, our Homeschool Program is exclusively for homeschooling families. We recognize that homeschooled children have a different family schedule than most, and a late morning or early afternoon class would work best. Our Homeschool Program teaches the exact same curriculum that our Junior Grapplers train throughout the week; the only difference is that the Homeschool class is during the day. Children are required to wear the traditional Gi uniform for this class. Homeschool classes are on Mondays and Wednesdays at 1:00pm.

WOMEN'S SELF-DEFENSE
Jiu Jitsu is one of the most effective martial arts for self-defense, offering women the tools to protect themselves in real-world situations. It emphasizes technique over brute strength, making it accessible to women of all sizes. By learning how to use leverage, you can effectively defend yourself against larger, stronger attackers.
However, it is important to manage expectations: while Jiu Jitsu provides you with powerful self-defense tools, it may still be challenging to overcome a significantly larger, stronger attacker, especially if caught by surprise. The goal for women's self-defense is to create opportunities to escape, control, or neutralize the threat, rather than win every confrontation.
COMBAT VETERANS
As a combat veteran-owned academy, supporting those who have served is personal to us. The owner, Corey Tucker, is a retired Green Beret who served 20 years in the U.S. Army with 10 deployments, so he understands firsthand the demands of military service and the transition that follows.

We believe Jiu Jitsu can be an incredibly valuable outlet for combat veterans: providing physical challenge, camaraderie, structure, stress relief, and a community built around trust and shared effort. Our Combat Veteran Discount (50% off tuition) is one small way we can give back to those who have sacrificed so much and make it easier for veterans to experience the benefits of training.

We’re proud to be an official We Defy Foundation Training Facility, helping support combat veterans through the therapeutic and community-building benefits of Jiu Jitsu. Through this partnership, eligible veterans may have the opportunity to train through We Defy Foundation programs while becoming part of a supportive team that understands the value of challenge, connection, and purpose on and off the mats.
WHY GUERRILLA GRAPPLING?
Guerrilla Grappling was built with a clear purpose: to teach Jiu Jitsu as a practical, effective system of self-defense.

Our approach is rooted in traditional Gracie Jiu Jitsu and focuses heavily on strong fundamentals, positional control, pressure, escapes, and techniques that hold up in real-world situations. While competition can be a valuable part of training, our curriculum is not built around points or sport-specific strategies. The goal is to develop Jiu Jitsu that works.

That philosophy comes directly from our lineage: Helio Gracie, Rickson Gracie, Pedro Sauer, and Jim Kelly. It continues with highly experienced instructors, including Black Belt Brody Hake and 3rd Degree Black Belt Kenny Bria. We believe good Jiu Jitsu starts with the basics: taught correctly, practiced consistently, and tested under pressure.
